1.9

就初段中，然初自他利成就者，舉所成果。無上智願之方便者，明能成智。成彼者，指所證果。發起等者，舉果顯因。

Regarding the first section, "however, first the accomplishment of benefit for oneself and others" brings up the fruit that is accomplished. "The upāya of the vow of unsurpassed gnosis" clarifies the gnosis that is capable of accomplishing it. "Accomplishing that" refers to the fruit that is realized. "Generating," and so on, brings up the fruit to reveal the cause.
