"Having returned to the park, host and retinue all assembled; at this juncture, it therefore says 'at that time'. The Buddha's crown is the substance, because it is tranquil and markless. The radiant light is the mark, because it possesses the qualities of the nature. The lotus flower is the function, because it accomplishes the myriad practices. The transformation Buddha is the fruit, because he is accomplished by the three of principle, wisdom, and practice. Proclaiming the divine mantra is because, his own fruition being already complete, he speaks it to benefit others. Furthermore, Śākyamuni shows that the ocean of fruition is beyond speech; the crown's light and the manifestation of the lotus represent the three dharmas of great concentration, wisdom, and compassion secretly perfuming and giving rise to great function; hence he manifests the transformation Buddha to speak the divine mantra.
