「我今示汝兜羅綿手，汝眼見時心分別不？」阿難答言：「如是。世尊！」佛告阿難：「若相知者，云何在外？」

"I now show you my tūla-cotton hand; when your eyes see it, does your mind discriminate it or not?" Ānanda replied, "It is so, World-Honoured One!" The Buddha told Ānanda, "If they mutually know, how could it be outside?"
