舉拳初問便言耀我心目，再審誰見，又却獨不言心，意引推徵明露妄想，師資善巧，共破執情。善哉大權，懸知今日。

When the fist was first raised and asked about, he said it dazzled his mind and eyes; when further asked what sees, he alone did not mention the mind, with the intention of leading him into an examination to clearly expose false conceptualization. Master and disciple skillfully act together to break through clinging emotions. Excellent indeed is the great expedient, foreknowing this day!
