The appearances of external dusts are originally false and illusory, transformed and produced from consciousness, just like images in a mirror; yet they further give rise to thoughts, cogitations, and reckonings, which are termed "mind." Both mind and object are false; this mind and object are merely a floating bubble in the ocean of tathatā. Thus the text below says: "Your body and your mind are both things manifested within the wondrous, luminous, true essence of the wondrous mind." Once floating dust appears, the true essence is hidden; it can cover and obscure, hence it says "confusing your true nature."
