1.51

Born from the Buddha's mouth, born transformed from the Dharma, obtaining a portion of the Buddha's Dharma, capable of continuing the Buddha's lineage, they are therefore called "sons of the Buddha". Securely abiding in the secret treasury of the three virtues of the awakening nature, maintaining the myriad good qualities and merits without loss, they are therefore said to "uphold and preserve". "All existences" are the twenty-five existences. Having all attained the twenty-five kinds of samādhi, untied by the realms, they are therefore said to "skillfully transcend". This praises self-benefit; below praises benefiting others.
