定其有性也。色香等即是事境，有牽心用，故名為業。既因境有，自性元無。若保為真，離塵應在。

Determining its possession of nature: Forms, smells, and so forth are objective states; they have the function of pulling the mind, so they are called 'activities.' Since it exists dependent on objects, its own nature is originally non-existent. If you maintain that it is true, it should remain when separated from dusts.
