「所以者何？汝試於途詢問盲人：『汝何所見？』彼諸盲人必來答汝：『我今眼前唯見黑暗。』更無他矚。以是義觀，前塵自暗，見何虧損？」

"Why is this? Try asking a blind person on the road: 'What do you see?' Those blind people will surely answer you: 'Presently before my eyes I see only darkness,' with no other sight. Viewed in this sense, the front dust is naturally dark; how has the seeing suffered any loss?"
