Concluding the loss. Failing to understand that nature is all mind is precisely losing reality; this reproaches the two vehicles for not knowing the permanent. Mistaking things for the self refers to ordinary persons taking what moves to be the body, and so on. In the text below, both body and mind are things manifested within the true mind; clinging to them as oneself is inversion at its extreme. Not recognizing one's own essence, one falsely grasps other conditions, like carrying an utmost treasure within one's bosom yet begging outside—whose fault is it? Thus it says: "bringing about one's own transmigration."
