「或以欲界為正轉依，觀見圓明，生愛慕故。或以初禪，性無憂故。或以二禪，心無苦故。或以三禪，極悅隨故。或以四禪，苦樂二亡，不受輪迴生滅性故。」

"He may take the desire realm as the correct basis of transformation, because contemplating he sees a round clarity and gives rise to love and yearning. Or he takes the first dhyāna, because its nature is free of worry. Or he takes the second dhyāna, because the mind is free of suffering. Or he takes the third dhyāna, because of following ultimate joy. Or he takes the fourth dhyāna, because suffering and bliss are both vanished, and its nature does not undergo cyclic birth and death."
