10.185

行陰雖盡，已滅生滅，返識循元，未歸寂滅，故云精妙未圓。以識未破，正在細生滅故。精妙即精真妙明也。

Although the aggregate of formations is exhausted and he has extinguished arising and ceasing, returning consciousness to trace the source, he has not yet returned to quiet extinction; hence it says 'the refined and wondrous is not yet complete.' Because consciousness is not yet broken through, he is right amidst subtle arising and ceasing. 'Refined and wondrous' means the refined, true, wondrous lucidity.
