10.21

「一者、是人見本無因。何以故？是人既得生基全破，乘于眼根八百功德，見八萬劫所有眾生業流灣環，死此生彼，秖見眾生輪迴其處。八萬劫外冥無所觀，便作是解：此等世間十方眾生八萬劫來無因自有。」

"First, this person sees that the origin lacks a cause. Why is this? Since this person has completely broken through the basis of birth, relying on the eight hundred merits of the visual faculty, he sees the swirling stream of karma of all sentient beings throughout eighty thousand eons, dying here and being born there; he only sees sentient beings reincarnating in those places. Beyond eighty thousand eons, it is dark and there is nothing to be observed. He then forms this understanding: 'All these sentient beings throughout the ten directions of the world have existed naturally without a cause for eighty thousand eons.'"
