10.52

「一者、是人觀妙明心遍十方界湛然，以為究竟神我，從是則計我遍十方，凝明不動，一切眾生於我心中自生自死，則我心性名之為常，彼生滅者真無常性。」

"First, this person contemplates the wondrous, bright mind as clear and pervasive throughout the realms of the ten directions, considering it to be the ultimate spiritual self. From this he then calculates: 'I pervade the ten directions, concentrated, bright, and unmoving; all sentient beings arise and die on their own within my mind. Therefore, my mind's nature is called permanent, whereas those that arise and cease have a truly impermanent nature.'"
