阿難承佛悲救深誨，垂泣叉手而白佛言：「我雖承佛如是妙音，悟妙明心元所圓滿，常住心地。」

Ānanda, receiving the Buddha's compassionate salvation and profound instruction, wept tears, clasped his hands, and addressed the Buddha: "Although I have received such wondrous sounds from the Buddha, and have awakened to the wondrously bright mind as originally complete, the permanently abiding ground of mind—"
