得初果證，方斷分別，故云未得無漏。自無定力，假他而見，故云承佛神力。借通令見者，意欲阿難信知自己見之真用有若是也。色界之首梵眾、梵輔、大梵俱名初禪。

Only upon attaining the realization of the first fruit does one sever discrimination; hence [the text] says 'not yet attained the uncontaminated.' Having no samādhi power of his own, he borrows from another to see; hence [the text] says 'relying on the Buddha's spiritual power.' The intention of borrowing supernormal powers to let him see is to cause Ānanda to believe and know that the true function of his own seeing is like this. The beginning of the form realm—the Brahma-pāriṣadya, Brahma-purohita, and Mahā-brahma—are collectively named the first dhyāna.
