Confusing the self of true nature, they form the objects of form and mind. Form and mind having been formed, the true nature is then concealed; hence it is said, 'losing their fundamental mind.' The earlier text stated, 'That which can generate all conditions is what is dismissed by conditions.' Objects change according to the mind, and the mind is turned along with objects; therefore one perceives the difference between great and small and the distinction between internal and external, unable to separate from conditions to contemplate the nature. Merely knowing to give rise to attachments in accordance with objects, the various doubts and inversions mentioned previously thus arise.
