「世尊！若此前緣色空等像若是見者，應有所指；若非見者，應無所矚。而今不知是義所歸，故有驚怖，非是疇昔善根輕尠。」

"World-Honoured One, if these preceding objective conditions such as forms and space were seeing, there should be something to point to; if they were not seeing, nothing should be gazed upon. Yet now they do not know to what this meaning belongs, and thus they are alarmed and frightened—it is not that their roots of goodness from former days are slight and few."
