覺，猶見也。若見實有所緣之境及能緣見，皆是眚病，以能、所緣如空華故。或可見與所緣已俱是眚，若起覺智覺此二空，此能覺者亦是眚也。《圓覺》亦云「依幻說覺，亦名為幻。」

"Awareness" is like seeing. If one sees that there are truly conditioned objects and a seeing that conditions them, both are cataract diseases, because what conditions and what is conditioned are like flowers in space. Alternatively, seeing and its conditions are already both cataracts; if an aware wisdom arises to be aware of these two being empty, this aware subject is also a cataract. The Perfect Enlightenment Sūtra also says: 'Speaking of awareness based on illusion is also called illusion.'
