分別彼此、生佛、依正皆屬見妄。無見妄者說名真精，故此真精無境可見，故不名見。如前觀燈有圓影者皆屬於眚，見若無眚，說名淨眼。此真淨眼無影可見，故不名見。此則結詶前問見非是見也。

Discriminating self and other, sentient beings and buddhas, dependent and primary retributions—all belong to the falsity of seeing. That which is free from the falsity of seeing is termed the true essence; therefore this true essence has no object to be seen, and is thus not called seeing. Just as previously viewing a lamp and seeing round shadows all belonged to cataracts, but if seeing is free from cataracts, it is termed a pure eye. This truly pure eye has no shadows to be seen; therefore it is not called seeing. This concludes the response to the prior question of whether seeing is not seeing.
