喻真性本空也。目喻智，空喻理。以果海無別色聲，唯如如理及如如智獨存。

This metaphorizes that the true nature is fundamentally empty. The eyes metaphorize wisdom, and space metaphorizes the principle. Because in the ocean of fruition there are no separate forms or sounds, only the principle of tathatā and the wisdom of tathatā solely remain.
