破流即水也。流相漂動，水相澄清，若此漂動便是水相者，至澄清時應非是水，暴流漂動已是水故。

Refuting the flow being identical to water. The characteristic of flow is rushing movement, while the characteristic of water is clarity and stillness. If this rushing movement were itself the characteristic of water, then when clear and still, it should not be water, because the rushing flow and movement were already water.
