心現身心，如鏡現物，物不是鏡，物體虛故；鏡不是物，鏡體實故。虛實既辨，由是顛倒於茲可識。
The mind manifests body and mind just as a mirror manifests objects: the object is not the mirror, because the substance of the object is insubstantial; the mirror is not the object, because the substance of the mirror is real. Once the insubstantial and the real have been distinguished, inversion can from this be recognized.
