第二、破六入。梵語鉢羅吠奢，此云入，亦云處，境入之處也，亦是識生處故。然根境二法俱識生處，今分六根別破，故獨以根為入也。文二：一、總徵。

Second, refuting the six sense entrances. In Sanskrit, praveśa, which is translated here as "entrance" (ru) or also as "base" (chu)—the place where sense objects enter, and also because it is the place where consciousness arises. However, both faculties and objects are places where consciousness arises; now, dividing the six faculties to refute them individually, the faculties alone are taken as entrances. The text has two parts: first, general inquiry.
