「是故當知，舌味為緣，生舌識界，三處都無，則舌與味及舌界三，本非因緣、非自然性。」

"Therefore, you should know that the tongue and tastes, acting as conditions, generate the tongue-consciousness element. The three loci are completely non-existent; hence tongue, taste, and the tongue element—these three—are fundamentally neither conditioned co-arising nor nature of spontaneity."
