前五句正顯無體。法塵即前五之影,故離五無體。生則下四句牒破轉救也。設汝救言:色及餘法雖非意境,生滅二種正是法塵者,若爾生滅無體全是色等,若起若止,無別生滅在色等外。

The first five lines properly demonstrate that there is no substantial entity. The dharma-dust is just the shadow of the preceding five [objects]; hence, apart from the five, it has no substantial entity. The four lines from 'arising' onward cite and refute the shifted counter-argument. Suppose you argue to rescue your position: 'Although form and the remaining dharmas are not cognitive objects of the mental faculty, the two states of arising and cessation are precisely the dharma-dust.' If so, arising and cessation have no substantial entity of their own and are entirely form and the rest; whether occurring or stopping, there are no separate arising and cessation outside of form and the rest.
