破艾生也。艾若出火，日鏡不合，何無火出？若必待合然後火生，顯非艾出。
This refutes arising from the mugwort. If the mugwort produced fire, why would no fire emerge when the sun and mirror do not meet? If it must depend on their meeting before fire is produced, this shows it does not come out of the mugwort.
