「如是阿難！當知如是甞苦淡知，非甜苦來，非因淡有，又非根出，不於空生。」

"Thus, Ānanda, you should know that such awareness of tasting bitter and bland does not come from sweet or bitter, nor does it exist because of the bland, nor does it emerge from the faculty, nor is it produced from space.
