「阿難！若復眼根生色相者，見空非色，色性應銷，銷則顯發一切都無。色相既無，誰明空質？空亦如是。」

"Ānanda, if the eye faculty were to produce the marks of form, then seeing space which is not form, the nature of form should dissolve; if it dissolves, then when manifested, all would be entirely non-existent. Since the marks of form are already non-existent, who could clarify the substance of space? Space is also like this."
