愛欲情深互相纏縛，結滯難捨，故云不離。父母生子，子復生孫，子子孫孫續生不斷，皆欲為本也。

Deep emotion of love and desire entangles mutually, coagulated and difficult to relinquish; hence it says "cannot be abandoned." Parents give birth to children, and children in turn give birth to grandchildren; sons and grandsons continue to be born without cessation; all have desire as their basis.
