「若彼所生，富樓那！且日照時既是日明，十方世界同為日色，云何空中更見圓日？若是空明，空應自照，云何中宵雲霧之時不生光耀？」

"If they arise from those, Pūrṇa, then when the sun shines, since it is the sun's brightness, the worlds of the ten directions should uniformly be the colour of the sun; why then is the round sun seen further within space? If it is the brightness of space, space should illuminate itself; why then, in the middle of the night or at times of clouds and fog, does it not produce radiance?"
