「汝豈不聞，室羅城中演若達多，忽於晨朝以鏡照面，愛鏡中頭眉目可見，嗔責己頭，不見面目，以為魑魅，無狀狂走。」

"Have you not heard of Yajñadatta in the city of Śrāvastī, who suddenly one morning looked into a mirror to see his face, loved the head in the mirror whose eyebrows and eyes could be seen, and rebuked his own head for not seeing its face and eyes, thinking it was an evil spirit, and ran wildly without reason?"
