始覺合時，本不曾動，今無始靜也。《法華》中亦有此喻，彼約結緣，此約本有，意不同耳。

When initial awakening unites [with original awakening], fundamentally it had never moved, and now it is beginninglessly still. The Lotus Sūtra also has this analogy: that text concerns forming an affinity, whereas this one concerns fundamental presence; their meanings are different.
