4.322

The first two lines reiterate, and the next two lines refute. If the spontaneous head came to run about madly due to causes and conditions, then the spontaneous non-losing should also have lost its head due to causes and conditions. The four lines from "the original head" downward conclude. Now, since the original head was not lost, and the madness arose falsely of itself, the madness and the head were completely non-interfering; how had it ever changed, so as to rely on causes and conditions?
