多聞無功，豈如定力。首楞嚴王名無漏業，得此定者，一切諸法皆如幻事，豈復能生憎愛二苦！
Hearing much is without merit; how could it compare to the power of samādhi? The king of the Śūraṅgama is called undefiled karma. For one who attains this samādhi, all phenomena are like illusory events; how could they still give rise to the two sufferings of hatred and love!
