迷真起妄見聞覺知，返妄歸真常樂我淨。不循生滅妙證可臻，苟順塵勞真常益背。故勸擇妄依不生滅。

Delusion regarding reality gives rise to the false seeing, hearing, sensing, and cognising; turning away from the false and returning to reality yields permanence, bliss, self, and purity. If one does not follow arising and ceasing, wondrous realisation can be attained; if one conforms to afflictions, one will diverge ever further from the true and permanent. Hence he exhorts him to select [against] the false and rely on non-arising and non-ceasing.
