「四數必明，與世相涉，三四四三宛轉十二，流變三疊一十百千，總括始終。六根之中各各功德有千二百。」

"The count of four must be clear. Interpenetrating with the eras, three times four and four times three revolve to make twelve. Flowing and transforming in three layers—tens, hundreds, and thousands—comprehensively encompassing beginning and end, among the six faculties each possesses one thousand two hundred virtues."
