「阿難！當知是根非一非六，由無始來顛倒淪替，故於圓湛一六義生。汝須陀洹雖得六消，猶末亡一。」

"Ānanda, you should know that these faculties are neither one nor six. Because of inversion and sinking into change from beginningless time, the notions of 'one' and 'six' arise in what is perfectly still and clear. Although you as a srotāpanna have eliminated the six, you still have not discarded the one."
