「阿難！如彼世人聚見於眼，若令急合暗相現前，六根黯然，頭足相類。彼人以手循體外繞，彼雖不見，頭足一辨知覺是同。」

"Ānanda, take a worldly person who concentrates seeing in their eyes: if they are made to shut them suddenly, an appearance of darkness appears before them, the six faculties are dim and obscure, and head and feet seem alike. If that person uses their hand to trace the outside of their body, although they cannot see, their knowing and perceiving are the same once head and feet are discerned."
