「世尊常推說法人中我為第一，今聞如來微妙法音，猶如聾人逾百步外聆於蚊蚋，本所不見，何況得聞？佛雖宣明，令我除惑，今猶未詳斯義究竟無疑惑地。」

"The World-Honoured One constantly praises me as foremost among speakers of the Dharma; yet now, hearing the Tathāgata's wondrous and subtle Dharma voice, it is like a deaf person beyond a hundred paces trying to listen to a mosquito: originally not seeing it, how much less could he hear it? Although the Buddha has clearly expounded it so as to make me eliminate delusions, I still have not thoroughly understood this meaning to reach the ground of having no doubts."
