「阿難！我說佛法從因緣生，非取世間和合麁相。如來發明世、出世法，知其本因隨所緣出。」
"Ānanda! I say that the Buddha-Dharma arises from causes and conditions, not by adopting the coarse worldly characteristics of combination. When the Tathāgata brings to light worldly and world-transcending dharmas, he knows their fundamental cause, which emerges in accord with whatever conditions."
