Turning one's back on awakening and uniting with dust is called 'abandoned and unprotected'; drifting like duckweed through the six destinies is called 'drifting about'. Suddenly encountering [the Buddha] and being counted as his cousin is called 'admitted to the heavenly kin'. Due to this encounter, like a child gaining its mother, the Dharma-body can endure long.
