優波尼沙陀即從座起，頂禮佛足而白佛言：「我亦觀佛最初成道，觀不淨相，生大厭離，悟諸色性。」

Upaniṣad immediately arose from his seat, bowed his head at the Buddha's feet, and addressed the Buddha, saying: "I also observed the Buddha when he first achieved the Way, and by contemplating the characteristics of impurity, I gave rise to great revulsion and renunciation, awakening to the nature of all form."
