5.21

阿難雖聞如是法音，心猶未明，稽首白佛：「云何令我生死輪迴、安樂妙常，同是六根，更非他物？」

Although Ānanda heard such a Dharma sound, his mind was not yet clear. He bowed his head and said to the Buddha: "Why is it that what causes me to undergo cyclic turning in birth and death, and what causes peace, bliss, and wondrous permanence, are both the six sense faculties and nothing else?"
