內以禪定智慧伏斷愛見，外以神通說法降制魔外，則涅槃城存，三寶不絕也。
Inwardly subduing and severing attachment and views through dhyāna and wisdom, outwardly subduing maras and non-Buddhists through spiritual powers and preaching the Dharma, the city of nirvāṇa then abides and the Three Jewels do not end.
