大目犍連即從座起，頂禮佛足而白佛言：「我初於路乞食，逢遇優樓頻螺、伽耶、那提三迦葉波，宣說如來因緣深義。」

Mahāmaudgalyāyana immediately arose from his seat, bowed his head at the Buddha's feet, and addressed the Buddha, saying: "When I was initially begging for food on the road, I met the three Kāśyapa brothers—Uruvilvā, Gayā, and Nadī—who expounded the Tathāgata's profound meaning of causes and conditions."
