文殊智德之主，言用莫測，斷割無疑，與奪眾心誰不緘默，故承佛旨敬而說偈。

Mañjuśrī is the master of wisdom and virtue, whose words and actions cannot be fathomed, who severs doubts decisively, and before whose giving and taking away whose mind would not be silenced? Therefore, receiving the Buddha's instruction, he reverently uttered the verses.
