This reveals the ocean of the single true nature, free from names and beyond marks, neither true nor false, neither awakening nor delusion, uniquely perfect and eternal, with nothing else to be found; this corresponds to the text below: “The wondrous nature is perfectly luminous, free from all names and marks; originally there are no worlds or sentient beings.” The nature of enlightenment is all-pervading, profoundly deep and serene, and therefore like an ocean. The second line reiterates praise for its inconceivability, beyond all dualities, and hence it is called “wondrous.”
