舍利弗曠劫已來心見清淨，由遇佛故，見覺明圓，光極知見。今揀眼識雜在三和之內，窮其本性無相可得，自體不常，如何圓遍。

Śāriputra, over eons past, had mind and seeing pure; because of meeting the Buddha, his seeing and awareness became luminous and perfect, his illumination reaching the limit of perception. Here it is selected out: eye-consciousness is mixed within the harmony of the three; investigating its original nature, no sign can be found, and its substance is not constant; how could it be perfectly pervasive?
