「音聲性動靜，聞中為有無，無聲號無聞，非實聞無性。聲無既無滅，聲有亦非生，生滅二圓離，是則常真實。」

"Sound has the nature of movement and stillness,
Which in hearing are taken as presence and absence;
When there is no sound it is called 'not hearing',
Yet it is not that the nature of hearing truly has no existence.
Absence of sound is already not extinction;
Presence of sound is also not arising.
Fully freed from both arising and ceasing,
This, then, is permanent reality."
