When one faculty is restored, defiling grime dissolves of itself. The text above says: 'Imagined appearances are dust; conscious emotions are grime. When both are left far behind, your Dharma-eye will instantly become clear and bright.' Therefore it says, 'accomplishing perfect, bright, pure wondrousness'. Here the three virtues are fully revealed, neither vertical nor horizontal, neither parallel nor distinct, and hence are called 'wondrous'. The last two lines conclude the stages: the preceding line refers to the virtue of abandonment not yet being complete; the following line refers to the virtue of wisdom being fully perfected. Their mutual manifestation can be known.
